My life up to this point has been one that is very humbling. Born in a Catholic and sports-centered family, I learned early on how to humble myself with each and every experience I go through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting off, I have loved sports ever since I was taken under my family\u2019s wing. Specifically speaking, I became a diehard Cleveland Guardians (Indians at the time) fan and made it my favorite hobby to watch baseball. As I grew up, I also became a casual Browns and Cavs fan, watching or going to a handful of their respective games every year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I also had my family who I learned beside, and who challenged me to become a more ambitious, disciplined person. I would not be the person I am right now if it were not for the people who had a very strong impact on my life. Taking things further, I also fell in love with playing sports as well. I played a variety of sports, but the three sports I loved the most and gave the most of my time to were basketball, soccer and baseball. I played basketball casually, but played at a varsity level for both baseball and soccer. Through the port of sports, I have gone through experiences that helped me to aim for the betterment of myself. It also aided me in working with my teammates with the goal of gaining victory as a team rather than as individuals. The experience of loss through sports has given me a bigger perspective on how to learn from it and stay humble in victory.<\/p>\n\n\n

As aforementioned, I was born into a Catholic family. I was baptized at birth but never really found a purpose for a belief in God until just recently in 2020. My eyes were opened in the midst of the world-changing events that were taking place at that point. Since then, I learned that I, as a human being, am very imperfect. I also cannot achieve a level of perfection by myself, but I can with Jesus. I have been learning that I just cannot do things alone, and I need the aid of those beside me and, most importantly, the aid of Christ Himself.<\/p>\n\n\n
