I am currently attending Kent State University in Kent Ohio. I originally wanted to go to college in Florida because I love the warmth but I decided against it because I wanted to be closer to my family and friends. Right now, I am pursuing a degree in Digital Media Production. My major is great because there is so much I can do with it, I learn about the process of filmmaking and the different roles and positions needed to produce some of the most renowned pieces of media!
Next year, I plan to minor in Music Production since music is such a big part of who I am and what I want to do in life. With my degree, I hope to eventually start my own video production company, specializing in music videos. I also love making music so I would like to do more of that in the future as well.
Another big dream of mine is to live in a city like Nashville, Las Vegas, or New York City. I’ve been interested in the fast paced lifestyle since I was little and have always wanted to work in a big city. My favorite city that I have visited has to be Nashville. The music scene is unmatched as well as the energy. Tennessee is also closer to my family than any other city I’ve visited. But who knows! I haven’t visited New York yet!
I would like to take an internship working in Nashville through Kent. That would be an amazing experience and a great resume builder. Overall, I am very excited for what the future holds for me and I can’t wait to see where I end up in life!
