When I look into my future I see an endless abyss of opportunity. During my college career, I have been sure to be as involved as possible and to secure jobs in fields that I wish to work in upon graduation. These opportunities are building the path I wish to go down in 2025 when I leave Kent State University.
It’s no secret I love Disney and since middle school, I knew it was where I wanted to land. Whether that be in Orlando outside Walt Disney World or in Anaheim near Disneyland. I’ve always found myself fascinated with the Guest Experience Disney Parks provides and I wish to convey that to guests as a Cast Member of the Walt Disney Company.
As a current Marketing major and Advertising minor, I want to continue advancing in my communications, marketing and social media skills and bring those to a company like Disney. Outside of Disney, I could see myself in a rather large city. A place so unfamiliar and opposite to where I grew up. Even moving abroad.

As of now, I plan to move abroad for 4 months this Fall and study in Prague. Something I wasn’t sure would happen but is slowly coming together is a dream come true. As someone who grew up traveling, this is the experience I feel I’m lacking from an educational standpoint. This is the type of experience that will continue the path of where I wish to go.

Though my future feels unsolved, so is everyone else’s if you think about it and that brings me a small ounce of comfort. Most of us strive for our end goal(s) but in reality–it can change any second of any day. My aspirations, goals and dreams are one thing but what excites me the most is to see what falls into place between those.
