Next Destination…
After I graduated high school my plans were to attend my first year of college at the one of the satellite campuses at Kent State University. My first two semesters were spent at the Twinsburg campus with a major in Communications. I only had to take one math class which I failed and had to retake the next semester. It was definitely harder being all online and not being able to receive the in-class experience.
For the 2021-2022 school year, I will be a full-time student at Kent State University (Main Campus) with a major in Public Relations, and a minor in Fashion Media. Having chose a fashion minor, it is mandatory I take a seminar in New York. I could not be more thrilled about this opportunity and for what my future holds.
While I am going to school in Kent I would like to get involved in more programs involved under the school of journalism and communications. I think it would be great for on-the-job experience, forming connections with people who have same interests as I do, and building a resume for myself.
Along the way….
I have met some of the most amazing people who I get to call my best friends. I started my job at Barrio Tacos, in Kent, which introduced me to a lot of people my age and students attending Kent State. I never thought a job could bring me so much happiness.
