My Story on the Web’s new updated curriculum joins The School of Emerging Media and Technology (EMAT)!
Kent State University officially launched The School of Emerging Media and Technology (EMAT) as of Fall 2020! This program is the new name for the former School of Digital Sciences (DSCI). The new name comes with an updated curriculum including My Story on the Web, to better reflect what sets us apart.
With an emphasis on teamwork, hands-on learning and collaboration across disciplines, we are equipping our students with the technical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills they will need to design and create cutting-edge solutions for an evolving world.
Emerging media and technologies have changed the way we learn, express ourselves and consume information. In the new School of Emerging Media and Technology at Kent State, discover how things like web/app development and augmented reality fit into our everyday lives and work environments, with space to play, imagine and solve problems.
