Right now I am currently a sophomore at Kent State where I am studying Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Fashion Media. My whole life I have loved admiring fashion and as I got older I also started to really appreciate technology in the world of fashion when it comes to social media and editing. I felt that Kent State was the perfect choice for me as it was the perfect distance from home and had a really good ranking for what I wanted to pursue.
Kent State also has a really good travel away program which is something I am very passionate about. A few years ago I went on a school trip to Peru and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. That trip helped me to realize how much I love traveling and now I plan to visit London and Italy during my time here at Kent State.
After I graduate from Kent State I want to move to a big city. As of right now my ideal place of living is New York City. I visited the city a couple years ago and absolutely loved it, but I would also be open to living in some other city to keep my options open.
As for work, I want to become a buyer for a clothing brand. Buyers figure out what goes out on the store front, but they also have to be aware of pricing and have to be willing to travel, and as someone who enjoys math and has a strong desire to travel, becoming a buyer seems like a pretty good fit for me. Outside of buying I would also love to be a stylist, or own my own jewelry brand, but no matter where I end up after college I hope I am able to do something that I am really passionate about.
